Host Hour at Bebenhausen Abbey, Tübingen!
Visitors of Bebenhausen Abbey, beware! A thrilling story surrounds the monastery! An exciting escape game where you free the monk from his haunting at the Abbey of Tübingen-Bebenhausen!
For centuries, it is said that a restless monk wanders the ancient walls – his face hidden, his rosary clinking in the silence. In his hands, a mysterious codex that holds the puzzle surrounding his mysterious death. You’ve found it. But can you unravel the secret before the shadows of the past catch-up with you? A gripping escape game full of riddles, history, and eerie discoveries awaits the players!
The escape game is integrated into the Bebenhausen Abbey exhibition, but the story of the haunting monk is entirely fictional (or is it?). In 2008, the grave of Prior Georg Beckelhaub was discovered there, the last Catholic of the monastery, who lived in the 17th century. He was buried with a rosary and a book in his hands.
The escape game is only playable on-site during the Abbey’s opening hours. It is suitable for student exchanges, class trips, group excursions, team-building events, or family activities.
The product is available as a PDF. Please download the file to your smartphone or tablet before your visit. Entrance fees must be paid additionally at the Abbey ticket office. For more information, see:
The game is available as a printed workbook for €14.99 plus €3 shipping fees.
